Things about corporate life no one tells you about?

  No matter how much you like your work or how good your position and salary are, after a certain period things become monotonous and boring. To survive make sure you don’t have a monotonous personal life. Initially in your career don't stick with a company for more than 2–3 years unless you have an onsite opportunity or a better salary hike. Try switching at least once or twice before completing 5 years of experience to reach a good salary. After you reach a certain experience and salary you won’t be getting enough calls for interviews it becomes challenging to switch jobs. So, plan accordingly and if you have a good team and company after a few switches stick with it. Learn as much as you can in the first 2–3 years because as you will grow older you might lose interest and don’t feel like studying.
